What Picket collects
Very little, and nothing about your icons, searches, folders or files. Here is all of it.
The Mac app
Once a day, when you use Picket, it sends an anonymous check-in so I can count how many people use it and which versions and macOS releases to support. The check-in contains:
- A random ID created on your Mac, not linked to you or your device
- The Picket version and build number
- Your macOS version, such as 15.3
Turn it off any time in Picket → Settings → General → Privacy. Picket also downloads its icon libraries from GitHub and checks there for library updates once a day.
This website
- Visits are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t track you across sites.
- Downloads are counted per day and version. No IP address or browser details are stored.
- The Windows and Linux waitlist stores your email address and the platforms you chose. It’s used only to tell you when Picket is ready for them, and never shared.
Questions or removal
Email feedback@jerondev.com to ask what’s stored or to be removed from the waitlist.
